We were thrilled to take on the challenge of creating a striking concept for the highly anticipated fourth instalment of the Life Is Strange series, Double Exposure. Our goal was to introduce this new chapter while honouring the original game's iconic art and protagonist. Our creative process began with black-and-white sketches exploring the game’s supernatural themes, unique winter setting, and the signature motif of polaroid photography. A key challenge was depicting the two timelines central to the mystery while hinting at Max’s powers without revealing too much. Through various iterations and cleverly placed Easter eggs, we crafted the final snowy scene with Max in an expressive pose. It was incredibly rewarding to see longtime fans react and speculate about the key art and the mystery behind it.
